Its members include Dominican‑Luxembourg soprano Stephany Ortega, Belgian accordionist Christophe Delporte, and French double‑bass player Adrien Tyberghein. Stephany Ortega
Soprano

A classical‑modern soprano, pianist, composer and choral conductor. Born in the Dominican Republic, she later obtained Luxembourgish citizenship. In recent years, the Government of Luxembourg has appointed her Luxembourg Cultural Ambassador in recognition of her outstanding achievements and contributions to music, culture and the arts.

Her repertoire spans Baroque to contemporary music, opera, art songs, jazz, pop and musical theatre. She has performed across China, Europe, the United States and the Caribbean, notably collaborating with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dominican Republic Symphony Orchestra, and the contemporary ensemble L’Instant Lucilin.

In 2016, she released her debut album Return (Et’cetera Records). A musical journey bridging Europe and Latin America, it earned acclaim from international critics. She subsequently embarked on an international promotional tour across Europe, the United States and the Caribbean, with performances at Carnegie Hall (New York), La Monnaie (Brussels), Teatro Ateneo (Madrid), Fondation Biemans‑Laporte (Paris), Luxembourg Philharmonie, and Palacio de Bellas Artes (Santo Domingo).

In 2019, Stephany Ortega released her second album American Soul: from Broadway to Paris (Hänssler Classic) and launched a new international tour. Nominated for the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), this album marks a major milestone in her career.

Christophe Delporte
Accordion & Bandoneón

His artistic career took off in 1989, when he took part in the “Young Soloists” competition organized by the Radio‑Télévision Belge de la Communauté Française (RTBF). He was awarded the second prize and, more importantly, won the Audience Prize by a clear margin.

“I have never heard an accordion played like that” — this comment echoed through every round of his competition performances.

Since 2004, he has been a founding member of ASTORIA, an ensemble dedicated to the music of Astor Piazzolla.

In 2021, together with ASTORIA, he created an arrangement of *The Barber of Seville*, directed by Karine and François de Carpentieri. When performing with other ensembles, he “enjoys exploring the diverse timbres of the accordion, creating works across a wide spectrum of repertoires and musical styles: tango, Baroque, classical music, opera arias, contemporary music, world music, jazz and children’s songs.”

Adrien Tyberghein
Double Bass

A French musician and composer, he is a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He has collaborated with renowned ensembles including the Opéra National de Paris and contemporary‑music collectives. He has also performed alongside leading artists across classical, jazz and contemporary music circles, such as Ibrahim Maalouf, Manu Katché, Gautier Capuçon and Renaud Capuçon.

In 2021, Adrien created and composed his first interdisciplinary performance *Alone Against the Bass*, which re‑examines the conventions of the classical solo recital by blending diverse art forms and musical styles. He also partners with Belgian accordionist Didier Laloy in **Dyad**, a duo merging classical, rock and world music. Additionally, he is a member of the New Music Ensemble, and performs in multiple formations together with accordionist Christophe Delporte.
